CYBERSECURITY STUDENTS SEEKING PAID INTERNSHIPS

NPower offers accelerated training programs for more advanced IT coursework including Cybersecurity, Coding and Enterprise Service Management. Each program path offers FREE hands-on training and in-demand certifications designed to prepare our alumni for higher wage IT jobs. The New York Cybersecurity Class is currently underway and WE NEED YOUR HELP to host an intern for 12 weeks!


CYBER TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Our 26-Week Signature Training Program includes:

  • 14-weeks of in-class instruction
  • 12-weeks paid internship
  • Opportunity to earn industry-recognized, in-demand certifications (CompTIA Security+, Network+ and Linux+)

NPower students are typically considered for positions like: Security Analyst, Security Engineer, Technical Support Associate, Identity Management Operations Engineer.

HOST AN NPOWER INTERN

Internships provide an opportunity for these motivated and newly trained students to exercise their skills in the "real world".  If you are interested in learning more about the students, you can review some of their resumes or contact Matt Velez, NPower Career Specialist. Below are a few details to consider:

  • The internship period will run May 22, 2017 through August 11, 2017.
  • NPower Interns will work a full- 40 hour work week (Monday through Friday)
  • The flat rate to host an intern is $8,000 for a minimum of 12 weeks*
  • The employer must provide a cyber-related position, a detailed job description, and a plan from their direct supervisor to serve as a mentor for the student throughout the term of the internship

*Price adjustment available for hosting three or more interns. Cost includes student stipend, administrative fees and program costs covering technical and professional training, transportation vouchers and other support services.
