Bridget O'Connor

Bridget O’Connor leads technology and operations for Consumer & Small Business Banking. Her team of more than 13,000 employees serve 60 million consumer households and small businesses and provide support for online and mobile banking, deposit and card products, ATMs, contact centers and banking centers.

O’Connor joined Bank of America in 2010 from Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) where she was managing director and chief technology officer responsible for overseeing the critical information technology infrastructure, including core networking services, processing and messaging systems, distributed systems and business continuity.

Previously, O’Connor spent 19 years at Lehman Brothers and held numerous technology management positions including chief information officer and global head of business continuity, chief technology officer and managing director and Global Head, e-Commerce technology.

Before joining Lehman Brothers, O’Connor worked as an applications architect for AT&T Bell Laboratories.

In 2007, O’Connor was named one of the “100 Most Influential Women in NYC Business” by Crain’s New York Business and also has been noted as one of technology’s “Top Power Women” by Forbes.com. She serves as co-chair for the 2011 Women in Technology and Operations awards.
