Peter A. Allen

President,Global Sales & Marketing, CSC

Mr. Allen is Acting President of CSC’s Managed Services Sector (MSS) responsible for its Managed Services practices, including World Sourcing, Applications, Global Infrastructure and Enterprise Services, Market and Product Strategy and Cloud and Software Services.  Allen also serves as President of CSC's Global Sales and Marketing, a position he has held since March 2010, where he executes strategies to advance CSC’s position in high-growth markets, expand major accounts and pursue new clients, capitalize on strategic alliances and strengthen brand recognition,

Mr. Allen rejoined CSC in September 2009 as Group President for Managed Services Strategy, directing the go-to-market initiatives related to infrastructure, applications and business process operations for our Managed Services Sector (MSS).

A prominent industry thought leader, Mr. Allen was recognized for his sales and marketing initiatives at TPI, the leading global sourcing advisory firm, where he served as Partner and Managing Director. Previous positions within TPI include Chief Marketing Officer and leadership of the company’s business process advisory services encompassing Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Human Resources, Contact Center Services and Financial Services Operations.

Mr. Allen first joined CSC in 1990, holding senior management positions within our Federal and Commercial business, including leading our JPMorgan account, a $2 billion relationship.

A frequent speaker at industry events focused on sourcing strategies and trends, Mr. Allen is a regular spokesperson in the media and is often quoted in key business publication such as the The Wall Street Journal, The Economist and BusinessWeek. He has also appeared on “CNNfn” and the “NBC Nightly News” as an expert on technology and sourcing trends.

Mr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
