New York TSC Graduation Ceremony Class 23

On May 21, 2010, over 150 guests gathered at Microsoft offices in New York City to celebrate NPower's Technology Service Corps (TSC) Class 23 graduation ceremony. With 40 students (83% of the class) graduating, Class 23 stands out as the most successful class to date. In addition, nearly 25% of the students were woman, a new benchmark for TSC.


Volunteer employees from Accenture, JPMC, Microsoft, SAP, TD Ameritrade, Deloitte, ICAP and Tekmark sponsored workshops while executives Jonathan Teplitz of JPMC, Guy Fruda of Gartner, John Tiglias of Glaceau as well as Joy Larkin and Josh Beggs of McGraw Hill served as guest lecturers. JPMC will hire 3 TSC alumni for their Apprentice Program and McGraw Hill and Deloitte selected 5 students for internships.


The presentation of awards was a highlight of the morning with Laura Wallace presenting The Microsoft Unlimited Potential Award to Erold Augustinas, LaMae Allen deJongh presenting Accenture's High Performance Award to Devon Grannum and Jonathan Teplitz awarding Ashleigh Davis with the JPMorgan Chase Leadership Award.

Class 24 will kick-off in July and will be extended to 22 weeks as TSC joins the CISCO Networking Academy.
