Accenture and the Aidmatrix Foundation Partner with NPower Texas to Serve Charity Clinics
The Extreme Web Makeover contest offers local area nonprofits the opportunity to apply to win one of several Web makeovers provided by NPower Texas. This year's contest will be targeted toward increasing the effectiveness and operations of members of the Greater Dallas Fort Worth Association of Charitable Clinics (GDFWACC) by leveraging technology to transform access and communication. GDFWACC is an alliance of more than 40 free and sliding-scale health clinics throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area that seek to aid the poor and uninsured with acute and primary care needs. With more and more emergency rooms turning away patients who are not experiencing true emergencies, the free clinics are playing a vital role in local communities as a place for the poor to obtain health care.
As a founding supporter of NPower and its affiliates nationally, Accenture is a proud supporter of NPower Texas' mission of enabling nonprofits to accomplish their community goals through strategic and affordable use of technology. Accenture further supports the Extreme Web Makeover contest through our commitment to optimizing resources and streamlining the health care delivery process. We work with our health care clients to ensure that patient need is at the center of everything they do. Within pharmaceutical and medical products, providers, payers and public service health we are transforming global health care by connecting information, insights and technology to improve the quality of the patient experience.
Members of GDFWACC are eligible to submit applications for the revamping of their Web sites. The winning organizations will receive technology products and services valued at $30,000.
