NPower Names Stephanie Cuskley New CEO
NEW YORK, NY, January 23, 2009. The Board of Directors of NPower, the nation's leading nonprofit IT services network, today announced that it had appointed STEPHANIE A. CUSKLEY as its new Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Cuskley will serve as the executive leader of NPower, a national network of twelve affiliated organizations, as well as Executive Director of NPower NY. She succeeds Barbara Chang, an NPower NY cofounder who led the organization for nine years.
"Stephanie's impressive and diverse leadership experience will help her inspire the NPower team to meet our challenging goals and objectives for 2009 and beyond," said Chris Wearing, an Accenture executive and Chairman of NPower's Board of Directors.
Ms. Cuskley, who will begin her new role at NPower immediately, is a Commissioner on the New York City Mayor's Commission on Women's Issues and a member of the Resources Development Committee for United Way of New York City. She is also on the Board of Directors of Insituform Technologies, Inc. (INSU:NASDAQ) and Avantair (AAIR:OTC). Stephanie was previously a Managing Director with JPMorganChase, with experience serving mid-cap and media and telecommunications clients, and also led the successful creation of LeadershipMorganChase, a CEO-sponsored leadership development initiative. Ms. Cuskley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and has a Masters of Business Administration from Cornell. She is married, has three children, and lives in New York City.
