Brad Helies

Senior Manager, Account & Partner Engagement

Prior to joining NPower, Brad worked for eight years in Northrop Grumman's Information Technology sector as a human factors engineer, systems architect, and in various marketing and business development positions. In these roles Brad supported a wide range of initiatives with an emphasis on integrating emerging technologies in support of homeland security, military, transportation and other federal clients.

Brad's work at Northrop Grumman included the design and development of command and control centers for the US Capitol, airport security systems, navigation and fire-control displays for submarines, military planning software, and an enhanced vessel transit management system for the Panama Canal.

Brad was a founding member Human Factors and Ergonomic Society, New England chapter where he served as Vice President. Brad also served as a volunteer teacher for Future Scientists and Engineers of America for six years, teaching a weekly elective course to sixth and seventh grade students. He has also worked in the wine industry in France and holds a Level 2 Intermediate Certificate in Wines & Spirits from the International Wine Center in London.

Brad received his MBA from Columbia University in 2007 and a BS from Tufts University in 1998.

Outside of work Brad enjoys traveling with his family, extreme sports, and cold weather.
