Bowery Resident's Committee (BRC) and NPower team up

Improving IT to help a nonprofit achieve its mission

Challenge

BRC faced an IT challenge that could have potentially hampered its ability to meet the needs of over 10,000 of the city’s neediest residents.

Solution

NPower teamed up with BRC to assess all IT needs, and then upgraded BRC’s entire IT infrastructure including a full data migration and connection of over 500 employees and volunteers to a fully hosted cloud solution.

Impact

Over the last three years, IT Basic has helped BRC expand its capacity and deliver
services to their residents 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In 2011, BRC opened it's flagship location, a 100,000 square foot, state of the art campus, in the Chelsea area of New York City.
