NPower transforms the way Princeton In Asia connects with constituencies
"Working with NPower to build a new website has made worlds of difference for PiA's online presence. The dynamic, easy-to-use interface and increased functionality has transformed the way PiA connects with all of its constituencies, and has helped amplify the scope of our work in both the US and Asia."
-Anastasia Vrachnos, Executive Director, Princeton In Asia
Challenge
Princeton in Asia (PiA) experienced tremendous growth in the last 3 years. They hope to continue to build on their success while maintaining their unique character and close family feel. PiA contacted NPower in hopes of using technology to aid in the growth of their program by expanding their reach and fostering connections across constituencies, as well as to streamline their web and social media operations.
Solution
NPower stood out in a rigorous selection process - structuring the project to meet PiA's needs. NPower was communicative and helpful in coordinating schedules and focusing their staff. PiA is extremely pleased with NPower's level of dedication and commitment to reaching their goals. The new website captures PiA's quirks perfectly, and the process was enjoyable as NPower added a touch of humor to their professionalism.
Impact
PiA's new website received tremendous feedback from fellows, board members and alumni. They have seen immediate impact with increased donations and increased inquiries through the site. The dynamic nature of the site allowed them to collect donations at an event in real time. The staff find the site easy to navigate, and are now empowered to develop new materials and channel more interactive activity through the website.. In the first month with the new site, PiA has been able to do as much as they would have in an entire year with the old site.
About the Nonprofit
To promote good will and understanding and to facilitate in every way the free interchange of the best ideals in the civilizations of both East and West.
Princeton-in-Asia (PiA) provides transformative, service-oriented experiences for talented graduates and serves the needs of Asia as determined by our Asian partners. Over the last century, the organization has achieved this goal by providing talented young people with various opportunities to live and work in Asia. The first PiA "fellowships" consisted of a handful of Princeton University graduates who went to China in the late 1890s to do relief work and teach English; the program has since expanded considerably in size and scope throughout Asia.
