Nadine Harris an inspiring TSC Class Alumnae

Six years ago, Nadine Harris was looking to for a way to get her professional and personal life back on track. Following high school graduation, she was living in shelters and facing the prospect of dead end, low paying jobs. Her life took a turn for the better in the fall of 2005 when she enrolled in the Technology Service Corps and discovered a pathway to a brighter future through IT.

How did TSC go beyond the classroom?

“TSC was great and went way beyond technical training. They gave me interviewing skills, helped me with problem solving, and just speaking to people in a professional manner. It is the kind of stuff you don’t get in high school or even in most colleges.”
