In addition to the services offered by local NPower affiliates, NPower National works with grant-making partners to bring strategic technology consulting services to nonprofit organizations across the country.  By leveraging our network of experienced nonprofit technology consultants across the country, NPower is able to provide coordinated, high-quality services to cohorts of organizations regardless of geographic location.

Strategic Technology Assistance to Youth-Serving Organizations

NPower, in collaboration with TechSoup.org/CompuMentor, is providing strategic technology assistance to Edna McConnell Clark Foundation grantees to help them use technology to improve and grow their programs and services.

Measuring the Impact of Nonprofit Technology Assistance

Funded by: The Carnegie Corporation, the Cisco Foundation, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Surdna Foundation
In partnership with: N-TEN

NPower, in partnership with N-TEN, is spearheading a three-year evaluation effort to measure and understand technology's impact on nonprofit mission achievement and to identify which types of assistance and services best help nonprofits use technology to achieve maximum community impact.

Helping New Orleans Organizations Recover from Hurricane Katrina

Funded by: Microsoft Corporation
In partnership with: Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations

NPower and LANO are working together to give a group of New Orleans organizations the technology assistance they need to rebuild, recover, and help the city and its residents get back on their feet. This one-year project is funded through a grant from Microsoft.

Technology Assistance for Organizations Serving Communities of Color

Funded by: W.K. Kellogg Foundation

Thanks to the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, NPower has completed a three-year initiative in partnership with nonprofits serving communities of color to understand and respond to unique needs they face putting technology to work for their missions.

Technology Training Grants

NPower affiliates are offering technology training grants to organizations across the country, thanks to the Verizon Foundation Resource Center.

In partnership with: LISC & The Enterprise Foundation

NPower and Living Cities (The National Community Development Initiative) partnered to assess and raise the level of technology capacity for community development corporations in 15 cities across the country.

C. S. Mott Foundation Re-Granting Compliance Project

Funded by: Charles Stewart Mott Foundation
In partnership with: CompuMentor

Through a grant from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, NPower provided software training and technical assistance to all Mott grantees to help them understand and comply with new list-checking regulations of the USA PATRIOT Act. Along with CompuMentor, we worked to ensure that nonprofits had the necessary technology in place to comply with these new requirements.

SBC Excelerator Services

Funded by: SBC Foundation

Through a generous grant from the SBC Excelerator program, NPower, working through the NPower Network and other partner organizations, offered hands-on technology consulting and training services to nonprofits in the 13 states where SBC's employees live and work.

Inspiring Wireless Innovation

Funded by: AT&T Wireless (now Cingular Wireless)

In 2004, NPower partnered with AT & T Wireless (now Cingular Wireless) to educate and inspire nonprofits about the potential of wireless technology as a tool to increase the reach and impact of their services. To do this we developed a series of wireless workshops and on-line resources. NPower also assisted AT&T Wireless in developing the AT&T Wireless Community Connections Award, a nation-wide competitive grant program designed to give nonprofits the vision and resources to apply wireless technology in their work.
