Launching a Tech Career through Dedication and Support

Lucas B.

IT Business Analyst, Citi

A six-year U.S. Army veteran who served with distinction, Lucas enrolled in NPower during his transition from the military. His two hour drive to class, each way, underscores Lucas’ deep commitment and determination for excellence which earned him the NPower Award at graduation. Following the conclusion of a valuable internship at Citi, he became a Department of Labor IT Generalist apprentice through the NPower partnership with World Wide Technology and contracted with Citi. After working on several high-level enterprise projects, he exceeded expectations and was offered a permanent role with Citi. Lucas is now an IT Business Analyst with a focus on project management and a shining example of the impact NPower can have on transitioning veterans.

"I hope to continue learning with NPower and join the Cybersecurity program. My goal as an IT professional is to become a cybersecurity analyst, where I can apply the skills I developed in the military as well as at NPower."
