A Veteran's Successful Transition into Tech

Ricardo N.

IT Generalist Apprentice, New Jersey Transit

Ricardo served six years in the U.S. Army as a Calvary Scout and long-range resonance specialist. After active duty, he took several jobs in retail and finance, but realized he didn’t have the technology savvy to stay relevant in the job market. Then Ricardo discovered NPower! Ricardo is now working as an IT Supervisor for New Jersey Transit making $20,000 a year more than he was making before NPower.

“I came to NPower with some technical skills and left with the knowledge and experience to transition my career into the IT field. Thanks to NPower and the on-the-job experience I gained from my internship at Bright Star, I am confident in my abilities as an IT professional.”
