Patrick G. Cohen

Technology Service Corps Director

Patrick serves as the Program Director for NPower NY’s Technology Service Corps (“TSC”) technology education and job training program. In this capacity, he is responsible for the overall strategy and management of the program’s two offices. He has been with NPower for nearly four years and has overseen the significant growth and development of the program.

Mr. Cohen has worked as a financial analyst and associate, and a real estate investor, owner, broker, developer and adjunct professor. He has mentored youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters, INROADS, Sponsors for Educational Opportunity and the Lenox Road Baptist Church. He is passionate about community and human development.

Patrick has over fourteen years of experience in commercial and residential real estate, and corporate finance and advisory services. Patrick co-owned and operated FPC Development LLC, a real estate company for five years. He was formerly an investment banker at Bear Stearns & Co. where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate restructurings, and private placements. He also served as a Finance Associate at the New York City Investment Fund advising early-stage companies and non-profit organizations in the Communications, Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate sectors.

Patrick holds a Masters of Science Degree in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Accounting from the University of Miami. He serves as a Mentor Committee member at the Lenox Road Baptist Church. He is also a licensed New York State real estate broker and lectures at New York University as an Adjunct Professor in the Real Estate Program.
