On behalf of NPower’s Board of Directors, Gala Committee, Staff and Students, thank you for making the Re-Wire 2020 Gala a success. Held virtually for the first time in NPower’s 19 year history, nearly 800 attendees from around the world joined us for a night of meaningful, thought-provoking conversations.
A special thank you to our Sponsors for your commitment to our students. Together we raised over $1.8 million to support NPower’s free technology training and career programs. These programs are core to our mission: creating pathways to technology careers for veterans and young adults from underserved communities.
We were deeply inspired by our honoree, Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture. Named this week as Fortune’s Most Powerful Woman of the Year, she shared her experience as an advocate for diversity in the workplace, as well as the importance of taking risks in the face of fear. NPower graduate Tyrone Scott moved us with his personal journey of determination and defying the odds. To hire industry-trained and certified NPower alum like Tyrone, please review and share the resume cards with your HR teams. Our alumni are eager to launch their careers and take on your organization’s unique challenges.
If you have not yet contributed, you may still do so by texting your name and amount to 646-859-2203 or donating online. We are grateful for a donation of any amount. Our mission depends on the financial support of motivated, caring individuals like you!
This year’s gala will build upon years of success.
